Coral turned 3 yesterday.
I love this age. They are still tiny and cuddly, but now understand birthdays.
Except for when she kept telling everyone "Happy Birthday!" back.
Cute.
Her presents were all things girly.
I knew the day would come.
It is still an adjustment since I had a boy first.
Barbies, nail polish, lip gloss, dress up. . . oh, and a bright pink, rainbow and "Girl's Rock" fabric covered car booster seat. After all, she's a "big" girl now.
This year, I sewed her gifts (um no, not the car seat, but everything else).
Take a peek at what I was sewing and baking up for Coral:
(And if you have seen this a thousand time because of FB. Sorry.)
Cupcakes for school. She had the biggest grin on her face when Daniel's class sang to her.
And she was even invited to some birthday parties!
This next picture, I don't like so much. The lighting was not good.
But oh my goodness. . . it was delicious. I never expected it to taste so yummy.
A little hobo bag to carry around her treasures.
Bracelets she can put on by herself.

The first hair clip I've ever made.
And another bracelet. This time beaded with an attached flower.
Boy (or should I say girl?) am I glad that is over. :)
In other news, I am being published (I'm not sure if that is what you call it or not, but it makes me feel cool) on the most widely read blog in the U.S. on depression and anxiety during pregnancy and postpartum.
I'll be sure to let you know when it's posted!
