Yes, it has almost been three months since my last post. Unfortunately, our computer is in our bedroom and my children DESTROY my room whenever I have blogged in the past. In the evening, Carlo is usually on the computer for school. And yes, they are destroying it right now. But in support of the blogging world, I knew I must forge on and finally post.
While I would like to post and catch up on everything, I don't think my room can take the punishment by my children. So, this will be a quick post- I hope.
Daniel turned four on August 29th. This is my last year with him at home. :(
We went to California for a wedding shortly after and of course went to the beach. The kids LOVED it and I wish we could go back every month. Honestly, we just wished we lived there again. And as always, it was fun to see friends!
I turned 30 on October 30th! Yep, my golden birthday. And I had the BEST BIRTHDAY WEEK ever. On Wednesday night, I went out with my friend, Amber, and we just shopped Target without kids. And when I came home, I had a birthday cake waiting for me made by Carlo! This is the first time he has ever made a cake.
Thursday was my birthday. During the day, we went to The Mini Grand Prix and had some family fun. We had only planned on one ride, but the kids (and us too) loved it so much we went again. Coral really has no fear as she was trying to reach over and touch the moving pavement!
And that evening, I had a party and was surprised by all of my friends. I think it was possibly the best birthday I have had. We stayed up until 2:30 am just being girls. Thanks to all my friends and my sister for making my big 3-0 memorable.
Of course, Friday night was full of Halloween fun. And then we hosted a Murder Mystery Dinner on Saturday night. It was a lot of fun and I don't think I got to bed before midnight almost every night.
Most recently, Carlo's grandma saw Coral for the first time. I always love meeting up with his family whenever we get the chance. So, here is a picture with Great Grandma (Nani) with Coral and Daniel just so you can see how they've changed in three months.
Oh, and I mustn't forget- I was called to nursery for the shortest three Sundays ever and then was put in as Primary Music Leader. I know pretty much nothing about music, but I love it. It keeps me super busy!
